My name is Hanlie Rossouw and I have been immersed in the world of beauty for over 22 years. I started my journey by studying makeup artistry, which eventually led to running a successful business catering to brides and special occasions. Before that, I gained experience working on cosmetic counters, and later I transitioned to becoming a permanent makeup artist and para-medical technician.

 

The beginning of my career was marked by challenges, as the training I received from another institution didn't meet my expectations. However, everything changed when I found Nora Barnard and Premier Beauty. The retraining I underwent with them completely transformed my skill set and outlook on the industry.

 

After five years in the field, I took on the role of instructor for Premier JHB, and that's when I truly felt like I had become part of the Premier Beauty family. Over the years, I've had the privilege of guiding and sharing my knowledge with hundreds of students, a role that has been incredibly rewarding for me.

 

Seeking new opportunities, I decided to pursue my passion for lasers and relocated to Cape Town to lead a laser academy as part of Premier Beauty in Blouberg. I feel blessed to be an instructor for Premier, and I'm honored to be part of such an amazing team.

 

In my role as an instructor, I've found that my ability to adapt to different experience levels and personalities is one of my greatest assets. I approach my students with patience and flexibility, allowing me to guide them to success no matter where they are in their journey.
